Stephanie McIntyre – 18 Years of Excellence
This week we’ve been celebrating over 18 years of service by Stephanie McIntyre, Manufacturing Help Assistant, as she stuffed her last whisky cask. Beginning her journey inside Ian Macleod Distillers as Distillery Ambassador in 2006, Stephanie excelled, sharing with guests her ardour for the distillery and the whisky trade by way of tantalising tales and tutored tastings. Her simple love for whisky manufacturing noticed her then embark within the function of Manufacturing Help Assistant. A New ‘Pour Your Personal’ in our Distillery Store.
We’ve acquired a model new ‘Pour Your Personal’ distillery cask in our store
A 15-year-old olorosso hogshead (55.4% abv), the liquid has a heat glow of amber which comes from the 100% European Oak Sherry Cask we use at Glengoyne.
The Nostril – dried fruits, sweetness of brown sugar with apricots and almonds
The Palate – wealthy with spice, and darkish fruit with marmalade and caramel.
The End – lengthy candy heat.
Bob, in our retail staff, has been calling it “the last word after-dinner whisky”.
