For its newest beer launch, Zoiglhaus Brewing reached out to John Harris at Ecliptic Brewing to collaborate on the brand new Dusk of Diamonds – Imperial Porter. This new beer will make its official debut on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at The BeerMongers in Portland, Oregon with festivities kicking off at 5:00pm.
Dusk of Diamonds – Imperial Porter Description:
Collaborations are solely pretty much as good because the brewers concerned. We landed a Corridor of Famer from Ecliptic Brewing for this venture. The reigning King of Porters (aka John Harris) labored with the Zoiglhaus crew to create this Imperial Porter. Half of the tank is what you discover on this can. The opposite half is ageing in Freeland Spirits Bourbon barrels. Hold an eye fixed out for that model!
Dusk of Diamonds is brewed with a mix of American and German malts and hops. Wealthy malt flavors of chocolate, toffee, and occasional dominate this crisp creation. The hops present hints of orange peel and citrus that mix harmoniously with the chocolate malts. Prost and cheers!
Dusk of of Diamonds – Imperial Porter is brewed with Nice Western Premium 2-Row, C-60 and C-120, Briess Chocolate, Weyermann Carafa I and Carafa III Malts. The beer is hopped with US Columbus and Centennial, and German Saphir Hops. It sits at 7.6% ABV and 40 IBUs.
