First showing in The Cafe Royal Cocktail E book, the traditional Lion’s Tail took place throughout Prohibition within the Nineteen Thirties and options allspice dram, a liqueur made with rum, pimento berries and spices, alongside bourbon, Angostura bitters, easy syrup, and recent lime juice. The Lion’s Tail is a novel drink that’s been principally ignored till just lately.

Substances
- 1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
- 1/2 oz. St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
- 1/4 oz. Demerara Syrup
- 3/4 oz. Lime Juice
- 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
- 2 dashes Cardamom Bitters
Preparation
- Shake all elements.
- Pressure and pour right into a coupe glass.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
